The Novak Djokovic-Andy Murray partnership shook the tennis world on Sunday, after the former announced the latter to be his new coach.

DJOKOVIC-MURRAY PARTNERSHIPS THROWS OFF FORMER, CURRENT PLAYERS

The Djokovic-Murray partnership threw off former and current players who learned of the news over the weekend.

Furthermore, Djokovic’s announcement of teaming up with former rival Murray was something the tennis world didn’t see coming.

Moreover, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina said “No Way! Top” with a heart-eyed emoji upon reading the news.

Italian world No,84 Fabio Fognini, Uruguayan rugby player Tomas Etcheverry, and former top 10 tennis player Marcos Baghdatis reacted positively.

“That’s the best news. One last dance @andymurray @djokernole,” Baghdatis wrote on social media.

NOVAK’S WIFE SURPRISED BY HUSBAND’S SUDDEN ANNOUNCEMENT IN SOCIAL MEDIA

Even Djokovic’s wife and former player Jelena was surprised off by her husband’s announcement over social media.

“Anyone thought it was a retirement video?” she asked in jest.

Furthermore, one of Murray’s former coaches, Brad Gilbert, was optimistic for his former ward.

“Good move,” he said.

Moreover, Wimbledon, the Boss Open in Stuttgart, the ATP Tour and Lacoste were all supportive of the news.

NOVAK SAYS THERE’S ‘ONE FINAL CHAPTER’ LEFT IN MURRAY PARTNERSHIP

Furthermore, the Serbian 24-time Grand Slam champion said the Djokovic-Murray story deserves “one final chapter.”

Moreover, Djokovic believes his former British rival will help him as he prepare for the Australian Open in January.

“We had some of the most epic battles in our sport. I thought our story may be over (but it) turns out it has one final chapter,” the player also known as “Nole” said.

“It’s time for one of my toughest opponents to step into my corner,” he added.

Murray replaces Goran Ivanisevic, who served as Djokovic’s coach for six years.

The retired Brit is “really excited for it and looking forward to spending time on the same side of the net as Novak for a change.”
