What did Ronaldo say to Topuria?
Ronaldo has been a huge fan of mixed martial arts.
The Al-Nassr star supported former champion Max Holloway to defeat Topuria in the UFC Featherweight Championship fight on October 26.
Ronaldo stated that Topuria “speaks too much” and that he “didn’t fight the top guys.”
Topuria fires back
Topuria, 27, is now finalizing details for his next fight, which could take place in Miami next year.
The featherweight champion responded to Ronaldo’s criticism, stating that he will only invite Inter Miami star Lionel Messi to his next fight.
Ronaldo and Messi dominated football for over a decade as rivals.
“The one I’m going to personally invite there [in Miami] is [Lionel] Messi because he lives there, so screw Cristiano as long as Messi exists,” Topuria told Cadena Cope’s El Partidazo
“I didn’t understand it, to be honest. I saw the clip that came out talking about me talking too much. If Cristiano says it, something doesn’t add up to me. Cristiano always talks.”
