Alejandro Garnacho has insisted he is ‘happy’ at Manchester United, despite ongoing speculation about his future.

Garnacho happy at Man United
Napoli previously expressed interest for the 20-year-old during the January transfer window, while Chelsea also showed interest.
Some reports suggest that Manchester United may consider selling academy graduate Garnacho to help fund a summer squad overhaul.
Despite all the talk, the Argentinian insisted he is happy at Old Trafford.
“I have a contract here until 2028 so I am happy here,” Garnacho said ahead of Europa League semifinal second leg against Athletic Bilbao.
“We know we have to work hard to be even in the squad and I just have to train well every day and I will be available for all the games,” Garnacho said.
“I think it is not easy when, in the middle of the season, you change the manager and all the staff but in my mind it is always to try to work hard every day and show the manager I need to play and that is the only thing I need to do.”
Best season so far
Since Ruben Amorim’s appointment in November, Garnacho initially struggled for consistency.
But he has since grown into a key player in the Portuguese coach’s system.
Amorim dropped him from the squad for the Manchester derby in December, believing Garnacho had ignored instructions while waiting to come on as a substitute in a Europa League match against FC Viktoria Plzen three days earlier.
The club later attributed the incident to a misunderstanding, and Garnacho has since gone on to enjoy his best season yet in terms of appearances and goals.
Across all competitions this season, he has tallied 11 goals and 10 assists.
