Alcaraz got back at Italian Open tormentor Fabian Marozsan, 6-3, 6-3, to advance to the last eight.
The Spanish world No.2 admitted being “nervous” in facing Marozsan, the world No.135 who upset Alcaraz at the Italian Open in May.
“Honestly, I was nervous before the match. I’m not going to lie,” Alcaraz said. “Playing against someone that beat you… Today, I knew what I had to do.”
