CARLOS HOPES TO MAKE GOOD IMPRESSION OF RETIRED SWISS LEGEND FEDERER
Meanwhile, Alcaraz hopes to make a good impression on retired Swiss legend Roger Federer.
Federer is expected to watch the games live.
Moreover, the Spanish champion seeks to make the most of his first-ever Laver Cup stint by interacting with Federer on the sidelines.
“For me, it’s great. I will try to make him (Federer) enjoy watching the match,” Alcaraz said.
“But for me, it’s great to hear those words from him,” he added.
Alcaraz admitted not having had the chance to meet Federer personally, either in Berlin or in any of the tournaments he has played in his career.
Meanwhile, the world No.3 is also looking forward to teaming up with his usual singles rivals from Zverev, Medvedev, and Ruud, among others.
“So it’s gonna be a little bit weird for me, but I think it’s gonna be fun,” Alcaraz said.
