Ancelotti scolds Endrick for “clowning around”
Endrick, 18, had two chances to score during the match.
The second opportunity came in the 55th minute, with only Getafe goalkeeper David Soria left to beat.
Endrick also had the chance to assist teammate Arda Guler — the scorer of Madrid’s goal — to double the lead, but opted to go for goal himself instead.
The missed attempt frustrated manager Ancelotti, prompting him to scold the young Brazil international for “clowning around.”

“He had two chances,” Ancelotti said.
“He couldn’t have done any better with the first one, and with the second, he may have been offside but he can’t be doing that.
“He’s young and he has to learn but he has to shoot as well as possible and quit clowning around. There’s no room for drama club in football.”
Ancelotti substituted Endrick in the 64th minute, bringing on Jude Bellingham in his place.
Growing pains
Endrick earned his first LaLiga start since arriving at Real Madrid in July 2024.
The Brazilian international has scored seven goals in 33 appearances across all competitions for the club since completing his permanent move from Palmeiras last summer.

Madrid currently sit second in LaLiga, four points behind leaders Barcelona with five league games remaining.
Ancelotti’s side return to action on Saturday, facing Clasico rivals Barca in the Copa del Rey final.
