ANTONY KEEN ON STAYING AT UNITED DESPITE FENERBAHCE INTERESTED IN HIM

Furthermore, Antony is keen on staying at United despite Fenerbahce showing interest in him, the source told ESPN.

Moreover, the 24-year-old Brazilian right-winger prefers to stay at Old Trafford even if a formal offer comes from the Turkish club.

The source said Fenerbahce is taking advantage since Turkish clubs can still sign players until Friday.

Antony’s contract still has three years left, but he has barely played in United’s first three matches this season.

He transferred to United for £82 million after he left Ajax in 2022.

TEN HAG DOESN’T WANT TO LET BRAZILIAN RIGHT WINGER LEAVE

Moreover, United manager Erik Ten Hag doesn’t want to let the Brazilian right-winger leave despite him playing only for just a minute this season.

Furthermore, ESPN reported that the club sanctioned Jadon Sancho’s departure to Chelsea on transfer day in the United Kingdom.

Aside from Fenerbahce, former club Ajax and several clubs in Saudi Arabia are also interested in Antony’s services.

However, the Brazilian footballer is playing behind Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo, Joshua Zirkzee, and Marcus Rashford in United.

Incidentally, Fenerbache is managed by former United coach Mourinho.

UNITED NOT RUSHING HOJLUND DESPITE CLUB’S INJURY PROBLEMS

Furthermore, United is not rushing Rasmus Hojlund back to action amid the club’s injury problems.

Moreover, the 21-year-old Danish striker is recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained in United’s first preseason tour match of the US in July.

The club faced Arsenal on July 28 when Hojlund went down with the injury.

Hojlund will be up for an assessment by United ahead of their trip to Southampton on Saturday.

Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Victor Lindelof, and Leny Yoro are all missing matches for United due to injuries.
