BCCI SLAMS PAKISTAN FOR TERROR ATTACKS, NEGATES ANY CHANCE FOR BILATERAL CRICKET
The BCCI slams Pakistan for the Pahalgam terror attacks, with an official saying this would negate any chances for bilateral cricket between the two South Asian nations.
Furthermore, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) vice-president Rajeev Shukla stressed that the incident would further prevent India from playing in Pakistan for bilateral cricket.
Moreover, the BCCI official told Sports Tak that the board backs the Indian government’s stand of not sending any cricket team to Pakistan for competitions.
“We are with the victims and we condemn it. Whatever our government will say, we will do. We don’t play with Pakistan in bilateral series because of the government stand,” Shukla said.
“And we will not play with Pakistan in bilaterals going forward. But when it comes to ICC event we play due to ICC engagement,” he added.
At least 26 people were killed and dozens were injured by gument at a disputed Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
