MAGALHAES MAY STILL JOIN BRAZIL SQUAD IN COPA AMERICA 2024

The 26-year-old Magalhaes may still join Dorival’s Brazil lineup for Copa America 2024 after he showed progress in his recovery from a “mild” shoulder injury.

Magalhaes dislocated his shoulder while playing for Arsenal in a Premier League match against Everton.

While the Brazilian defender is doubtful for Brazil’s upcoming friendlies, there is still hope for Magalhaes to play for Dorival to play in Copa 2024.

Furthermore, Arsenal’s doctor and Head of Sports Medicine & Performance Zafar Iqbal assured Dorival and the Brazilian squad that Magalhaes’ injury was not severe.

Magalhaes made 50 appearances for Arsenal in its 2023-24 campaign.
