PARENT BARS PANIAGUA FROM PLAYING FOR BOLIVIA IN COPA AMERICA 2024
Furthermore, One of the parents of Moises Paniagua will not give full authorization for the player.
This prevented Paniuagua from joining Bolivia’s roster for Copa America 2024.
Moreover, the Bolivian Football Association could not arrange an entry visa for Paniagua in the United States.
One of Paniagua’s parents, who was not identified by Bolivia’s FA, didn’t give full authorization to the midfielder.
Interestingly, Paniaguara was picked by coach Antonio Carlos Zago to play for Bolivia in friendlies against Ecuador and Colombia in the US.
ZAGO TO NAME 26-MAN BOLIVIA ROSTER SANS PANIAGUA
Furthermore, Zago will have to name his 26-man roster sans Paniagua, who played in the Copa Libertadores in February.
At that tournament, the teenager became the second youngest scorer at 16 years and 188 days.
Paniagua scored in Bolivia’s Always Ready squad’s 6-1 win over Peru’s Sporting Cristal.
Moreover, Rod Ramallo (The Strongest), Ramiro Vaca (Bolivar), and Moises Villaroel (Guabira) are three midfielders whose roles could be expanded with Paniagura out.
Paniagura’s teammates at Always Ready, Ramiro Vaca, and Robson Tome could also be relied on by Zago at Copa 2024.
VACA PRIMED TO LEAD ZAGO’S SQUAD TO GLORY
Zago will also look at Vaca to lead his squad in the US to Copa glory.
The 24-year-old midfielder is primed to introduce himself to the limelight at Copa America 2024 with the retirement of veteran Marcelo Martins.
Vaca averaged 3.49 shots per match to get 38.2% on target and scored thrice from an xG of 2.24.
He already tallied 31 appearances for Bolivia at 24 years old while scoring four times.
Bolivia will join host US, Paraguay, and Panama in Group C.
Zago’s men will open their campaign against the hosts in Arlington, Texas, on June 23.
