Netherlands include injured De Jong
Koeman said De Jong will be available for their first game against Poland on June 16.
The Barcelona midfielder sustained a right ankle sprain during the El Clasico match against Real Madrid.
“Frenkie will report for the team on Saturday, but things are going well. The first group match (against Poland in Hamburg on June 16) is feasible (for him to play),” Koeman told reporters.
“We have had a troubled cycle with many injuries. You make choices and sometimes they are difficult.”
Meanwhile, Koeman also included Atletico Madrid forward Memphis Depay despite nursing a muscle injury.
However, Borussia Dortmund left-back Ian Maatsen was not included in the lineup.
Liverpool veteran defender Virgil Van Dijk will lead the Oranje squad, who hopes to win a first European title since 1988
