Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has named his 29-man squad for the upcoming EURO 2024, which features a mixture of youth and veteran talents.

Youth, veteran talents banner Spain
Barcelona teenagers Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi will headline the youthful attack of La Roja.
Both Yamal (16) and Cubarsi (17) already have experience with Spain’s senior squad.
Meanwhile, Barca forward Fermin Lopez has received his first call-up to the senior side.
Lopez, 21, scored 11 goals in his debut season with Barca’s first team.
Athletic Club striker Nico Williams is also expected to lead the charge for Spain.
Meanwhile, De la Fuente added veterans including Manchester City’s Rodri, Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal, Sevilla’s Jesus Navas, and Atlético Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.
However, Paris Saint-Germain forward Marco Asensio was left off after 38 caps with the national team.

Spain finished as runners-up in EURO 2020 after losing to Italy in the final.
De la Fuente, who replaced Luis Enrique in December 2022, hopes to win the tournament this time.
“In everyone’s mind are the teams that are going to go all the way in this European Championship,” he said. “This story has a certain end. Only two teams are going to make it. We are going to try to fight to go all the way.”
The three-time European champions will open their campaign against Croatia in Berlin on June 15.
