FEDERER MISSES TENNIS, HINTS OF RESUMING TRAINING TO ‘REDO EXHIBITIONS’
Federer misses tennis, and on Sunday hinted that he might resume his training to “redo exhibitions.”
Furthermore, the 43-year-old retired Swiss great admitted not playing competitively since his retirement, limited to jut playing “a little with my children.”
Moreover, Federer welcomed the sight of “training a little and “fill stadiums around the world” should he push through with a comeback tour.
“I would like to resume training a little, two or three times a week. And I hope to redo exhibitions, fill stadiums around the world,” the Swiss maestro told France’s L’Equipe.
“I played a little with my children, but I would like to take it more seriously again,” he added.
‘FED’ SAID ITCH TO PLAY CAME AFTER BODY ‘NEEDED A BREAK’ AND ‘A LITTLE BIT’ WITH MIND
Federer believes the itch to play again came after his body “needed a break” after he retired in 2022.
Moreover, the 20-time Grand Slam champion may ponder resuming his tennis stints “during my travels.”
Furthermore, Federer cited the “training part” as one particular aspect he missed while he was playing.
“I know the training part… I miss it a little bit, to be honest because I haven’t played a whole lot since I’ve been retired,” the Swiss great said.
“During my travels, I will get back to it. And maybe you’ll see me again on a court soon,” he added.

ROGER ALSO DABBLES IN GOLF, PLAYS ROUNDS WITH MULLER
Federer is also currently dabbling with golf while in retirement.
Furthermore, the Swiss star was seen playing several rounds with current French tennis player Alexandre Muller.
Moreover, the 28-year-old world No.39 described playing against Federer the golfer was “great.”
“We practised (on the ATP Tour) before, but I never played him in a match unfortunately,” Muller said on Federer.
“We were talking about golf. He was playing great. He is practising a lot, I think he wants to beat Rafa (Nadal),” he added.
