INDIA IN HIGH SPIRITS AFTER LAST PRACTICE BEFORE PLAYING IN DUBAI

Expect India in high spirits as they are seen in practice in Dubai a few days before their Champions Trophy 2025 debut.

Furthermore, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released a video showing Team India players training in Dubai.

Moreover, team captain Rohit Sharma was seen in a jovial mood along with the other players, as he gave some batting advise to his teammates.

“Time the ball. If you beat the cover fielder, it’s a boundary,” he said.

The training video unveiled by the BCCI lasted for over two minutes as players carrying a positive atmosphere at India’s dressing room.

KOHLI, SHARMA FOCUSED BUT IN LIGHT MOOD AHEAD OF DEBUT MATCH

Veterans Virat Kohli and Sharma were focused but they remained with a light mood.

This is ahead of Team’s India’s opening match against Bangladesh on Thursday.

Moreover, Kohli took an impressive one-handed reactionary catch as the 36-year-old is warming up.

Furthermore, Sharma was also seen playing against teammates Mohammed Shami, Axar Patel, and Washington Sundar.

Coach Gautam Gambhir and assistant coach Abhishek Nayar monitored the practice session.

They were joined by batting coach Sitanshu Kotak.

“There are three nets in the center. Post whatever you have done,” Gambhir said.

“If you want to do something extra work, you’ve got two nets out back,” he added.

PAKISTAN HAS EDGE AS HOST, SAYS RETIRED BATTER

Pakistan has the edge in the tournament as host, according to a retired batter, who is “very excited” for his countrymen.

Furthermore, Muhammad Yousuf lauded the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for hosting an ICC (International Cricket Council) event for the first time in 29 years.

Moreover, the Pakistani cricket legend noted that the hosts will have the edge once they reach the final.

He cited the familiarity in the renovated stadiums as one of the factors

“If Pakistan reaches the final, they will play at home,” Yousuf said.

“I hope Pakistan cricket plays exactly the way the PCB has worked to prepare the stadiums,” he added.
