Inter Miami signed Allen Obando from Barcelona Sporting Club on loan until the end of the 2025 MLS season.

Inter Miami signs Obando on loan
The club has an option to make the transfer permanent in December.
The Ecuador international joins the club, pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue my career with a new challenge at a great club like Inter Miami,” Obando said in the club’s statement.
“I’m ready to get to work to continue growing as a player and help my teammates and the Club fight for our objectives this season.”
Promising young career
Obando began his career with Barcelona de Guayaquil in Ecuador, making his debut in August 2022 at just 16 years old.
The 18-year-old went on to register four goals and three assists over two seasons before leaving.
He has represented Ecuador at various levels, including the 2024 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament and the 2025 South American U20 Championship.
Overall, he has recorded four goals and one assist in 10 appearances while wearing the Ecuadorian national team jersey.
Obando made his senior national team debut in March 2024 and has earned two caps.
Inter Miami remains unbeaten in the 2025 season, sitting third in the MLS Eastern Conference with 10 points from four games.
