MATTHEW WADE RETIRES FROM INTERNATIONAL CRICKET AFTER 13 YEARS

Matthew Wade retires from international cricket after 13 years and 225 international appearances while playing for Australia.

Furthermore, the 36-year-old represented his country three times in the T20 World Cup.

He helped Australia win their inaugural 20-over title in Dubai in 2021.

Moreover, Wade was part of Australia’s lineup at the recent T20 World Cup in June.

However, he was not included in the tour of the United Kingdom in September.

The announcement came after Wade had already retired from red-ball cricket in March after Tasmania’s run to the Sheffield Shield final.

“I was fully aware my international days were most likely over at the end of the last T20 World Cup,” Wade said.
