Salah publishes cryptic post on social media
Salah, 32, scored Liverpool’s second goal in their match against Manchester United on Sunday, but the game ended in a 2-2 draw at Anfield after Amad’s 80th-minute equalizer.
Heading into the match, there was already plenty of discussion about the future of Salah, along with teammates Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
All three players are out of contract at the end of the season.
Ahead of kick-off on Sunday, a banner appeared on the Kop depicting the trio alongside the words: “[Liverpool owners] FSG give Mo & Co their dough.”
The day after the game, Salah shared a photo of himself, Van Dijk, and Alexander-Arnold.
What happens next for Liverpool?
The Egypt international has repeatedly expressed frustration over the lack of progress in his contract negotiations.
Salah has enjoyed a remarkable individual campaign so far, tallying 18 goals and 13 assists in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Alexander-Arnold has been heavily linked with a summer move to Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants approached Liverpool to sign the 26-year-old during the January transfer window, but their offer was swiftly rejected.
On the other hand, van Dijk remains mum about his contract situation at Anfield, but he reaffirmed his commitment to play for Arne Slot’s side.
Liverpool holds a six-point lead at the top of the table.
