Tchouameni out for a month
The midfielder left the field at half-time in Tuesday’s loss at the Bernabeu.
Madrid confirmed in a brief statement that the 24-year-old sustained a sprain on his left ankle.
“Following tests carried out today by Real Madrid’s Medical Services on our player Aurélien Tchouameni, he has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle,” it said.
As a result, the France international will miss four weeks of action.
He won’t play for Saturday’s crucial LaLiga game with Osasuna.
Additionally, Tchouameni will also miss Madrid’s Champions League tie with Liverpool.
