SHEERAN PLAYS CRICKET IN INDIA, PAYS TRIBUTE TO AUSTRALIAN LEGEND
Sheeran plays cricket in India as seen in a new video that was posted on social media.
Furthermore, the 33-year-old English singer-songwriter was in Bengaluru as part of his multi-city India concert tour.
Moreover, Sheeran was shown wearing a cricket jersey with the No.23 and the last name Warne in the back.
The Grammy-winning singer paid tribute to Australian cricket legend Shane Warne.
Warne was friend of Sheeran who passed away in 2022.
Sheeran joined Indian Premier League (IPL) stars Riyan Parag and Tushar Deshpande of the Rajasthan Royals’ in the video.

The English singer is at the midst of his Mathematics India Tour that’s produced by BookMyShow Live with AEG Presents Asia.
Moreover, Sheeran, Parag and Deshpande then surprised a group of young cricketers.
They later joined them in a friendly game.
The match was held at the Brijesh Patel Cricket Academy in Bengaluru on Sunday.
The Instagram video was shown two days later.
BookMy Show sources said the kids had fun laughing while bowling and batting with Sheeran and the two IPL stars.
The singer is next scheduled to perform at JM Stadium (Polo Ground) in Shillong on Wednesday.
CUSTOM RAJASTHAN ROYALS WARNE JERSEY GIVEN TO GRAMMY SINGER
Furthermore, a custom Rajasthan Royals’ Warne jersey was given and worn by Sheeran in the video.
Moreover, Warne was a member of the Australian team that won the 1999 Cricket World Cup.
He took 708 wickets, which was previously the record for the most wickets taken by any bowler in Test cricket.
“Oh wow! With Shane on the back!” Sheeran was overheard saying after he received the jersey.
Sheeran will cap his India tour with a performance at Leisure Valley Ground in Delhi NCR on Saturday.
