In addition, the Polish player’s rise in grasscourt this year started when she made it to the final at a warm-up tournament before Wimbledon.

That pushed her from No.8 to No.4 before she moved one notch higher after she defeated American Amanda Anisimova in Sunday’s final.

Not only that, Swiatek’s breakthrough win on grass raised her Grand Slam title haul to six that includes four French Open titles.

Meanwhile, Anisimova rose from No.12 into the top 10 at No.7 despite her 6-0, 6-0 loss to Swiatek in the final.
