MOUNT BACK IN TRAINING FOR FIRST TIME IN 4 MONTHS
Mount will attempt to play “shortly” four months after he sustained a calf injury in November, Ten Hag said.
“Mason Mount, I think he is in a good spell now and he will return shortly, I think after the international break,” the United boss said.
Mount has joined United’s training ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final match against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
WAN-BISSAKA JOINS MOUNT IN TRAINING RETURN
Aside from Mount, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has also been confirmed to return in training ahead of the Liverpool match.
Mount last played for United during the club’s 1-0 victory over Luton Town on November 11.
The 25-year-old English central midfielder was signed by United from Chelsea in a £60-million ($76.7 million) deal last summer.
Meanwhile, United remains without Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, Tyrell Malacia, Harry Maguire, and Rasmus Hojlund due to injuries.
However, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, and Hojlund are lined up to return to play against Liverpool.
