India thrashed Afghanistan with a 47-run victory behind Yadav and Bumrah.
Furthermore, Afghanistan thus extended its winless run against India with the result.
Moreover, Bumrah (3/7 in four overs) combined with Yadav (2/32) as India forced Afghanistan to fold up for 134 in exactly 20 overs.
Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz (11 off 8) and Hazratullah Zazai fell victim to Bumrah as India was approaching an impressive start.
Additionally, Yadav sent back Gulbadin Naib (17) with a wrong one in the 11th over after Naib began operating in the middle overs.

Furthermore, England opened its Super Eights campaign with an eight-wicket win over West Indies.
Phil Salt and Jonny Bairstow played key roles as England charged 181 for two in 17.3 overs.
This enabled England to pull off a convincing win in their Group 2 match.
Salt led the way with 47 balls with seven fours and five sixes, while Bairstow had 48 to help England’s cause.
Furthermore, two English bowlers also played a key part in the victory.
Jofra Archer (1/34) and Adil Rashid (1/21) accounted for 22 of England’s 51 dot balls in their stints on the field.
WEST INDIES LOSS ‘WILL NOT DAMPEN OUR SPIRITS,’ SAYS COACH
Meanwhile, West Indies’ latest loss should “dampen our sports” in their chase for T20 World Cup glory, said coach Daren Sammy.
Sammy cited that his team was “about 25 runs short” of the winning total after Salt and Bairstow’s 97-run partnership carried England.
“It’s part of the game. This loss will not dampen our spirits,” the coach said.
“We still believe we’ve got a team that could win this World Cup, and that’s what I’ll tell the guys inside when I speak to them: park this game, put it in the garbage,” he added.
West Indies are at the bottom in Group 2 and will need wins against host United States and South Africa to reach the semifinals.
“Our destiny is in our own hands, and I feel I’ve got the 15, the group of men, that we believe that this tournament, we could win,” Sammy said.
