NADAL GRATEFUL IN POST-TENNIS CAREER, SAYS ‘VERY LITTLE PAIN’ IN BODY
Nadal is grateful in his post-tennis career.
He felt “very little pain” in his body in the months since he called it quits.
Furthermore, the Spanish former world No.1 admits trying to “organize what my life is right now.”
This after he announced his retirement in November last year.
Moreover, Nadal was an image of contentment and happiness when he spoke.
He received the Extraordinary Trophy at the Gran Gala of Mundo Deportivo, a Spanish newspaper.
“I’m fine, perfect, doing a different kind of work, but trying to organise what my life is right now,” the Mallorca native said.
“I’m living with very little pain and that’s very important to me,” he added.

Nadal admitted that he is still “getting used to” his new lifestyle after not playing for more than three months now.
Moreover, the 22-time Grand Slam champion noted that the “last years of my career” were “difficult” due to injuries.
Furthermore, Nadal assured that he is “lucky enough” to play tennis.
“It started out as a hobby and it was a very important part of my life and that’s the most important thing to me,” the 11-time French Open champion said.
“Thanks to tennis I’ve been able to have experiences that will stay with me for the rest of my life,” he added.
SPANIARD READY TO RESPECT WHAT ‘CHANGE WOULD BE’ AFTER TENNIS CAREER
The Spanish tennis legend is ready to respect what “change would be” after his tennis career.
Furthermore, Nadal is taking a “day to day approach” as to what are the things he could do in retirement.
Moreover, he is still discovering “exciting” thing he could do, as he deferred post-retirement plans like coaching or broadcasting.
“For me personally, I had respect for what the change would be,” Nadal said.
“We’ll take it day by day, there are a lot of things to get used to,” he added.
