Messi is ready to join Argentina’s training in Miami as he played his last Major League Soccer (MLS0 match before taking a break to represent his country in Copa America 2024.
The 36-year-old forward helped Inter Miami force a 3-3 draw against St. Louis City on Saturday night.
Messi tallied his 12th goal of the season as he left Inter Miami for Argentina’s Copa America title defense.

Coach Lionel Scaloni, additionally, joined some players who arrived in Miami on Sunday to train for Copa America 2024.
Messi, Alexis Mac Allister, Julian Alvarez, Enzo Fernandez, and Angel Di Maria are listed as still not with the team.
However, Scaloni expects Messi to join his teammates shortly.
Allister, Alvarez, Fernandez, and Di Maria are likely to follow suit in Miami a few days before Copa America 2024.
Messi is likely to miss five matches for Inter Miami in the MLS due to his Argentina duties for Copa America 2024.
SCALONI CONFIRMS PAULO DYBALA ABSENCE IN COPA AMERICA 2024
Scaloni confirmed the absence of Paulo Dybala for Argentina in Copa America 2024.
The Argentina coach described the team leaving out Dybala from the lineup as “difficult.”
“We have a special affection for him (Dybala) but we always say that the team comes first,” Scaloni said.
“Not just him. When you have a player out, especially in the conditions we had to do, it is always difficult,” he added.
Dybala was also not included in Argentina’s friendlies against Ecuador and Guatemala ahead of Copa America 2024.
