DRAPER OUSTS FRITZ IN STRAIGHT SETS, ADVANCES TO BNP PARIBAS OPEN QUARTERS

Draper said his battle against Fritz was “the best match I have played” in the California desert.
Furthermore, the Brit noted he had never felt so much better in all his three years playing at Indian Wells.
Moreover, he was fortunate to played in that level he currently has against high quality players like Fritz as he seeks a deeper run.
“I felt great. It’s the best match I have played here so far in all three years that I have been here,” Draper said.
“There were a few moments here and there where I was really brave. That was something I talked to my coach about before the match. When you have chances against these kinds of players, you have to take them,” he added.
