Jurgen Klopp confirmed that New Fenway Sports Group (FSG) Football Chief Michael Edwards has not asked him to stay as Liverpool manager.

KLOPP AWARE EDWARDS ‘NOT DUMB’ TO DISSUADE HIM
Klopp has not asked Edwards, who will run Liverpool’s football operations moving forward if he will stay as the club’s manager.
“There was not a subject to talk about, to be honest. Can you imagine I change my mind. Can you? Klopp asked.
Edwards was thrust into his new role at FSG after he was appointed on Tuesday.
KLOPP ASSURES ‘GOOD RELATIONSHIP’ WITH EDWARDS
The 56-year-old manager clarified that there is no tension between him and Edwards.
“We always had a really good relationship. Very good on a professional basis anyway,” Klopp said.
“A really good talk and that was that. I think it’s top news for the club,” he added.
Klopp acknowledged that Liverpool is in a “really good moment, a really good place.”
The club will host Sparta Prague in the second leg of their Europa League round-of-16 on Thursday.
