Moreover, the Spanish world No.2 allowed Ruud to post his first career win over him in five head-to-head matchups.

Furthermore, Alcaraz still has a chance to advance in the season-ending, round-robin event for the top eight players.

ZVEREV OPENS TURIN CAMPAIGN BY BEATING RUBLEV

Alexander Zverev began his ATP Finals campaign by beating Andrey Rublev, 6-4, 6-4.

Furthermore, Zverev extended his winning streak to six matches following his title conquest at the Paris Masters.

Moreover, he served nine aces and dropped only 10 points on his serve in 10 service games to dismantle Rublev.

“He finds a way to serve 220 wide on the deuce side. It’s not easy,” he added.
