Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel played key roles in helping India beat England by five wickets in their fourth Test match.
GILL, JUREL HEROICS CRUCIAL IN INDIA’S WIN
Gill and Jurel lead the way in putting up a critical 84-run collaboration to lift the hosts to victory and lead India to a big 3-1 lead. The match marked India’s 17th straight Test series win at home.

Jurel cited a collective effort with Gill and the rest of his teammates as crucial for India’s big win.
“I play according to the demands of the situation,” Jurel said. “I was involved in some partnerships, so credit does go to all those who stayed and added runs.”
“The conversion was good (with Gill in the second innings), we just broke it into 10prun sets and started developing the partnership,” he added.
HOSTS SEEK CLINCHER IN DHARAMSALA
India now focuses on finishing off the visitors with the last Test match in Dharamsala on March 7. The hosts haven’t lost in front of their home fans since a 1-2 setback to England, then led by Alastair Cook, back in 2012-13.
After that match, India went on to win 39 out of its 50 Tests at home.
The hosts took the fourth match despite Rajat Patidar and Ravindra Jadeja being dismissed.
