The Paris La Defense Arena will stage matches in the Paris Masters indoor tennis tournament starting in 2025.
The indoor arena in Nanterre, a western suburb of Paris, has a capacity of 23,000. It will replace Bercy Arena as the tournament’s host, according to the French Tennis Federation (FFT).
The FFT said that match schedules are expected to improve at the new venue. Bercy Arena can only accommodate 17,000 spectators and has smaller courts.

“This is a major strategic decision for the Paris Masters,” FFT president Gilles Moretton said. “By moving to the Paris La Defense Arena, we will fulfill our ambitions by offering our athletes and spectators an experience they will remember.”
There will be three daytime matches and two in the evening. The current format was four daytime and two evening sessions. The FFT explained that the change is necessary to avoid matches starting too late.
The Bercy Arena, also known as the Accor Arena, will host the event one last time this year. The tournament is scheduled from October 28 to November 3.
Meanwhile, organizers said that newly crowned Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner has withdrawn from the Open 13 Provence tournament in Marseille next week.
